Acoustic duo from Mildura, Victoria

Live music for weddings, parties and venues

To everyone who has ever booked us, danced in front of us, sung every word back at us, or yelled for one more song: thank you. You're the reason we get to do this.

Thank you to the venues who gave two brothers from Mildura a go, to the couples who trusted us to be part of their wedding day, and to the friends who keep turning up, night after night.

And above all, thank you to our beautiful Nan, Betty, our Pop, Roly, and our mum, Cathie. They backed us from the very beginning, believed in us through everything, and made sacrifices for us that we will never forget.

Every stage we step onto and every crowd we get to play for means something to us. We never take a single night for granted.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Signed, Shayne & Jesse

Letter to heaven

In 2006, six young people from our community lost their lives in the Cardross tragedy. Jesse was in Year 12, and three of them, Cassie, Josie and Stevie-Lee, were close friends from the year below. About four months later, still struggling, he wrote the letter he wished he could send them, as a song. He first played it for the families at a memorial six months after the accident, and they've backed it ever since.

Jesse calls it the song he wishes he'd never written. It was written for six friends, but it's for anyone who has lost someone.

In memory of Cassie, Josie, Stevie-Lee, Shane, Abby and Corey.

Recorded live on Triple M Sunraysia.

Common questions

How long do you play?
Usually four hours: four 45-minute sets with short breaks. Let us know your finish time and we'll plan around it.
What do you need from us?
One power point, a flat area of about 5 × 5 m, and cover if it's outdoors. We bring the PA, lights and microphone.
Can you play our first dance?
Yes. Send us your run sheet and song choices and we'll play your entrance and first dance through the PA at the right moment.
Do you take requests?
We choose songs to suit the crowd on the night. If there's one you'd love to hear, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Do you travel?
Yes. Outside Mildura there's a travel cost and we'll need accommodation for the night. We're not available for out-of-town gigs from March to May, during harvest.
Is there a deposit?
No deposit is needed. Once we've confirmed your date, you can pay cash on the night or by bank transfer in the week of the event.

Got a date in mind?

Send us the details and we'll check our calendar. Nothing is confirmed until you hear back from us, and we'll reply as soon as we can.
